Wyvern
The Wyvern isn’t always included as a type of dragon, but it is a large part of European lore where dragons are concerned. The difference between a Wyvern and a Dragon, however, is that Wyverns have only two legs, while Dragons have four. They are described as poisonous creatures that are more connected to water than fire, and show up in many depictions of old European stories. There are even some family crests with Wyverns surrounding the shield.
