Nightmare Dragon

$70.00

The "Nightmare Dragon" was inspired by the idea of compiling elements from various phobias and Lovecraftian horror to create a nightmarish dragon. You may notice the tentacles as well as the spidery legs on different parts of the serpentine body for example. Even the colorscape of the over all painting is intended to give the feel of danger and eeriness. This painting isn't intended to give the viewer nightmares or anything of course but rather was modeled for those who have an appreciation and fascination for the dangerous fantasy creatures. The painting was done with Acrylic paint on unstretched canvas and touched up with metallic ink for accents.
